However, at present, Chinese companies do not attach so much importance to investment in the chip field. ”

In this regard, Wei Jianjun, chairman of Great Wall Motors, responded, he said: "Now the chip has indeed caused some impact on the enterprise, the scale of Great Wall Motors is large, after the chip shortage price increase, individual models are indeed temporarily suspended, so we decided to slow down, store chips, and in the future we will develop our own chips." ”

It is understood that Great Wall Motors has made moves in chips and automatic driving. Recently, it has completed its strategic investment in Beijing Horizon Robot Technology R&D Co., Ltd., an automotive intelligent chip company, and officially opened the prelude to Great Wall Motors' entry into the chip industry. According to the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed by Great Wall Motors and Horizon, focusing on advanced assisted driving (ADAS), high-level automatic driving and intelligent cockpit direction, we will jointly explore automotive intelligent technology, develop market-leading intelligent automobile products, quickly lay out intelligent core technologies such as automatic driving and intelligent networking, and accelerate the research and development and mass production of intelligent vehicles. Great Wall Motor's Momo Zhixing adopts a similar development model to GM Cruise, relying on Great Wall Motor's huge user base, and is surpassing the data scale of domestic technology companies and new car manufacturers in terms of operating data.

However, the current Chinese market has also undergone tremendous changes, before it was 'dare to do', now it is not up to the top, so it must be marketized. In the past, its parts business was a division system, and I always felt that my products were good internally, so it was difficult to hear a different voice. Now although we still have a large number of parts to supply ourselves, we also need to bring in other suppliers in the market and compete with us internally. We must let our parts and components companies know their position in the market, so even the end of the wisdom is independent operation, so that it really 'goes out' to serve different enterprises. After the reform, Great Wall Motors has also undergone different changes, and the parts factory director no longer only understands production, but also understands management, marketing and brand communication, and the professional value is constantly improving. ”
