In recent years, in order to effectively do a good job in employee service work and ensure the safe and stable operation of the airport, the trade union of Xi'an Airport Company, under the leadership of the party committee and trade union of the group, has taken the construction of the "employee apron shared lounge" of the civil aviation trade union as the starting point, actively built demonstration points, effectively improved the outdoor operation and rest environment in the airport staff apron area, served the employee service brand in a practical and meticulous manner, acted as a good "mother's family" for employees, guided all employees to jointly build a "beautiful airport quality life", and sought enterprise development and shared a better life. In 2022, Xi'an Airport's flexible and convenient apron shared lounge (covering 16 seats) was rated as the "Civil Aviation Staff Apron Shared Lounge Demonstration Site".
As early as 2018, Xi'an Airport Company started the construction of "Beautiful Airport" in accordance with the unified arrangement of the group, and through all-round research, completed the construction of "Beautiful Airport Home", added tea break rooms and rest rooms, expanded staff restaurants, etc., improved the working and living conditions of front-line employees, and greatly improved the sense of belonging and happiness of employees. In July of the same year, the newly built staff lounge on the south side of the south corridor of Xi'an Airport was officially opened, which covers an area of more than 300 square meters, with functions such as dining, resting, studying, and meeting, and provides services for employees of China Southern Airlines, Sichuan Airlines, airport ground staff, security inspection and other employees working on the surrounding aprons, which has been unanimously recognized by employees.
At the same time, under the guidance of the group trade union, the trade union of Xi'an Airport Company pays attention to the enthusiasm of trade unions at all levels, encourages exploration and practice, and the trade union of the public area management department has successively opened T2 and T3 security checkpoints, south crossings, north crossings, ground support business buildings, No. 10 covered bridges, No. 15 covered bridges, South First Corridor, etc. to deliver meals to create an employee restaurant "mobile food delivery truck" to deliver hot meals and heart-warming services to the on-site employees who are working hard in the production line. The labor union of the ground handling company adapted measures to local conditions, pioneered and innovated, and transformed a shuttle bus into a "mobile cooling station", and installed rest seats, drinking water equipment, cleaning equipment, etc., so that the employees of the station can get a short rest during the flight support gap and replenish energy in time.
It is reported that the third-phase expansion project of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is in full swing, and after completion and operation, it will be more conducive to Shaanxi's deep integration into the "Belt and Road" pattern, and inject strong momentum into Shaanxi's high-quality development. Combined with the construction of the third phase of the airport, the trade union of Xi'an Airport Company continued to promote the improvement of the working environment of employees and the construction of rest places, and incorporated into the general pattern of "four-type airport" construction, intervened in advance, made suggestions, promoted resource integration, optimized the location of the lounge, and designed 9 apron guarantee rooms in the third phase expansion project of the airport, with a total approved area of more than 2,504 square meters.
In addition, 3 shared lounges, 13 changing rooms, 8 shower rooms and 11 meeting rooms are planned to be built in the East Terminal under construction. The company's trade union actively explores new modes of construction and management, continues to promote the construction of "6+N" standards, realizes "one room for multiple uses", strives to make full use of limited space and resources, further improves facilities, meets the needs of employees, benefits more employees, and promotes joint construction and sharing.
