The Interim Measures for the Management of Generative Artificial Intelligence Services (hereinafter referred to as the Measures), jointly issued by the Cyberspace Administration of China and other seven departments, came into effect on August 15, which is also the first normative policy for the generative AI industry in the mainland.
The Measures point out that inclusive and prudent and categorical supervision of generative AI services is implemented, and the overall requirements for the provision and use of generative AI services are clarified.
