"Metaverse" technology is fascinating

In September 2022, as an intern anchor of Guangxi Cloud Digital Media Group (hereinafter referred to as "Guangxi Cloud"), I had the honor to participate in the relevant reporting work of the East Expo and experience the grandeur of the East Expo up close.
At that time, I participated in the filming of two programs of Rong Media "Guangxi Cloud Metaverse Anchor "Xiaoyunduo" Take You to the East Expo" and "Metaverse High-end Interview".
In order to reflect the times and innovation, Guangxi Cloud relies on media fusion technology, through modeling to create a virtual female anchor "Xiao Yunduo" and a robot "Lele", combined with the real scene, using mixed reality (MR) to create "Guangxi Cloud Metaverse Anchor "Little Cloud" takes you to the East Expo", I took two virtual friends to visit the exhibition, showing the curious exhibits and cultural charm of the 19th East Expo.
This show is simply new to me. I remember that on the first day of the exhibition, I came to Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center early and followed the instructor into the D area of the exhibition hall. There are 10 ASEAN countries, Japan, South Korea and other RCEP countries characteristic goods, exhibitors from all over the world bring local specialty food, drinks, handicrafts, etc., some exhibition areas also show their national style in the form of architecture, clothing, music, dance, etc., which can be described as wonderful and full of highlights. Teacher Guangxi Yun, who played the role of the virtual anchor "Xiao Yunduo" here, wore a "motion capture" equipment and interacted with me in the air, which attracted the passing audience to stop and the exhibitors also actively cooperated and enthusiastically welcomed the venue, and our work area once became a popular check-in point in the venue of the day.

Teacher Guangxi Yun was impressed by the use of the "motion capture" equipment, and I secretly looked forward to the opportunity to try this equipment. Not long after, when filming another program "Metaverse - High-end Interview", Guangxi Cloud set up a metaverse virtual interview room, using metaverse intelligent technology to present virtual and real interactive interview scenes, and meet new and old friends in the cloud, and I became the anchor of this show and got the opportunity to wear this set of equipment.
I personally got started, only to have a deeper experience, the "motion capture" equipment is not light, especially the camera helmet used to capture expressions, after wearing it for a while, I felt my neck sore. In addition, during the shooting process, I had to adjust the action in time according to the action effect presented on the screen, otherwise there would be a possibility of "wearing a gang". The whole shooting lasted a long time, and everyone was tired, but thinking of making a show that satisfied the audience, my partners and I gritted our teeth and persevered. In the end, this issue of the report was post-edited and produced, and the virtual and real were perfectly integrated, and the content was novel and interesting, which was widely praised by everyone.
This "metaverse journey" gave me a deeper understanding of technology-enabled news reporting. The 20th East Expo and Summit this year is coming, and I am very much looking forward to continuing to use new scientific and technological means to report the event in an all-round, multi-angle and three-dimensional manner, and contribute to continuously improving the influence of the East Expo and Summit.
