Terry: I want to see Kante win the Ballon d'Or this year, and he does a lot of obscure work

Recently, Terry was interviewed by a reporter from the London Football Network, talked about Kante, and said that he would like to see Kante win the Ballon d'Or this year.

Terry said Kante had done a lot of obscure work and the Blues player, who won the European Super Cup with Chelsea on Wednesday, has been praised for many of his recent brilliant performances. After a series of games and impressive performances, he and his teammate Jorginho are both considered strong contenders for this year's Ballon d'Or, like Messi.

In an interview, Terry said: "<b>Kante deserves to win the highest honors in football because he has done a lot of things for the team that even the players did not notice. Kante is an independent individual and no matter what he does, he doesn't get attention, but he's a top-notch player. I'd love to see him win the Ballon d'Or, or get the accolade I think he deserves. </b>He was a very humble man, and he just did his own thing and didn't get into trouble. He is a great asset to the club and I feel very fortunate that Chelsea have him. ”

Although the Frenchman's contract with Chelsea won't end until June 2023, Terry said it would be great to see Kante dedicate his future to the Blues for the long term and help Chelsea build something special.

Terry said: "In the next few years, Kanter still has a lot to give. He's also one of the best players I've ever seen to stay fit. It's great to see Chelsea able to have N'Golo Kante in the next few years. ”
