It is understood that Changqing Oilfield is the highest oil and gas field in China at present. Over the past 50 years, it has discovered and successfully developed 35 oilfields including Maling, Anse, Jing'an, Xifeng, Jiyuan, Huaqing and Qingcheng, and 13 gas fields such as Jingbian, Yulin, Sulige and Shenmu, producing a total of 440 million tons of crude oil and 564.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas over the years, contributing more than 900 million tons of oil and gas equivalent to the country.
As an important replacement resource for the sustainable development of domestic oil enterprises, shale oil is of great strategic significance to ensure national energy security. Changqing Oilfield has been unremitting in tackling key problems for more than 10 years, striving to break out the road of innovation and development of China's continental shale oil, discovering the Qingchengda Oilfield, which has the largest reserves of 1 billion tons in China, and building the first million-ton shale oil demonstration area in China.
At the launching ceremony, Li Zhanming, Executive Director and Party Secretary of Changqing Oilfield Company, released the 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report of Changqing Oilfield, involving four volumes of Changqing Oilfield in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Inner Mongolia, and systematically summarized the practices of oilfield in promoting the integrated development of energy and environment, production and safety, oilfield and society, and enterprises and employees in 2022.
