With time travel confirmed as a plot point for Deadpool 3, the only question now is when and where Deadpool and Wolverine will travel through the multiverse and who they will meet.
According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter (THR), Jennifer Garner will re-play Marvel Comics character Elektra in Deadpool 3. Garner previously worked with Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds and director Sean Levy, played Master Assassin in 2003's Daredevil (starring Ben Affleck), and eventually got his own spin-off in the form of 2005's Elektra.
The report was also confirmed by Ryan Reynolds' Twitter account for the best-effort production company.
The Reynolds post was titled "Future Past Moms." Welcome to Deadpool, Jennifer Garner (Garner played Reynolds' mother in The Adam Project), pictured with a photo of them together in The Adam Project 2022 and footage of Garner playing Erica.
For many, the news of Garner's return to the Marvel universe (especially as her former character Elektra) comes as a shock.
