The Silence of the Lambs was adapted.

"The Silence of the Lambs" tells the story of a policeman who fights wits with murderers and finally solves a perverted murder case. The author Harris makes people feel as if they are personally involved in solving the case through a large number of character exchanges and ingenious case prompts, coupled with the tense atmosphere created by the horror techniques of the perverted murderer, which makes people look forward to the next plot development.

The best episode in the book is the confrontation between the young police officer Starling and the super-demon Hannibal, a classic character sublimated in his erudite and relaxed language. His contrast with Bison's state of mind at the time of the crime underscores Hannibal's calmness as a psychologist. In general, both are demons, but Bison Bill is intellectually controlled by madness, while Hannibal is controlled by madness with reason, unlike other crime suspense novels.

The characters in the book have both light and dark sides. Behind the police in doing justice, there is also a dirtiness that is unknown to others. Parliamentarians who seem to fight for the interests of the people are actually selfish and narrow-minded villains, and even murderers have a warm side that longs for change in their hearts.

The personalities of all the characters truly reflect the harsh reality of society as a whole. As the plot develops, one by one fresh lives become human skins, while perverted murderers live leisurely in luxury villas. Because they were ordinary people, the police were reluctant to compromise with Hannibal, the only person with whom the criminals knew about them, and the victims were just a number on the investigative documents. It wasn't until the councilman's daughter was kidnapped that police desperately turned to Hannibal and said something on live television that chilled the victims' families.

Hannibal managed to escape from prison, which created irony for the so-called "justice". In order to catch one criminal, he turned to another criminal, but the one at large was not caught, and the one who had already been caught fled.

In the end, if it weren't for the young policeman Starling's desperate insistence, risking his life to sneak into the villa to rescue the hostages according to the clues provided by Hannibal, I am afraid that the murderer would still lie on the folding chair, stroking his already made human skin coat, planning the next target.

At the end of the book, Hannibal writes to Starling: "Tell me when your lamb no longer screams, okay?" "When will the lamb stop screaming? I am afraid that only when Skynet is restored, it will not be missed.
