First, let's look at the origin of the concubine.
According to historical records, the concubine's surname was Wang Jia, and her father Hua Shan served as a staff member of the escort army. The so-called escort army staff refers to the military officer of the Eight Banners Guard Barracks, who has the duty of su wei palace prohibition, and the grade is Zheng Sanpin. From this point of view, Wang Jia's family lineage is still very good, after all, he is from the family of a senior officer of the Eight Banners.
There is no record in the historical records about the time when Wang Jiashi entered the palace, and it is speculated that it should be between the tenth year of Kangxi and the sixteenth year of Kangxi, and there were basically no concubines in the early days of Kangxi's succession, so Wang Jiashi was only a concubine after entering the palace. However, Wang Jiashi had a beautiful face and a graceful figure, and Kangxi was very fond of her and often made her sleep.
In the sixteenth year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the Qing court achieved a major victory on the battlefield of quelling the Rebellion of san Francisco, and Kangxi Longyan was overjoyed and ordered the concubines of the harem to be crowned. In addition to the title of Empress Dowager (Empress Xiaozhao) and the title of Concubine of the Tong clan (Empress Xiaoyi), Kangxi also enthroned seven concubines, namely An Concubine, Concubine Jing, Concubine Duan, Concubine Rong, Concubine Hui, Concubine Yi, and Concubine.
Everyone can find that Wang Jiashi ranked second in the ranking of the seven concubines of Kangxi, second only to Concubine An, which shows that she was very favored at that time, and her future must be unlimited. However, just after this canonization, the unthinkable happened, and since then, there is no record of Wang Jiashi in the historical records, she was demoted? Or was he executed? We don't know.
The burial place of Concubine Kangxi after her death was the Jingling Concubine Garden, however, there was no burial place for Wang Jiashi in the Jingling Concubine Garden, and it is speculated that there are two possibilities: First, the concubine Wang Jiashi angered Kangxi and was ruthlessly executed. Second, Wang Jiashi was demoted by Kangxi to Changzai, Promised, or Gege, and her title changed, so we can't tell which low-ranking concubine she was.
In any case, the concubines who were once very favored suddenly disappeared in the palace, in fact, these concubines entered the harem and became the emperor's women, looking very beautiful, but in fact, they were undoubtedly confined to the palace, there was no personal freedom, and the ancient society accompanied the monarch like a companion tiger, and a slight difference in the pool may fall into the abyss, so the concubines in this ancient palace are definitely a very risky "profession".
It is worth mentioning that Concubine Jing is not alone, and there is another person with the same fate as her, this person is An Concubine, who is the first of the seven concubines of Kangxi.
