The Love Notebook is a 2004 romance film by director Nick Kasavitz. Adapted from the novel of the same name by American novelist Nicholas Sparks, co-starring Ryan Gosley and Rachel McAdams.
The story is told by an old gentleman who comes every day to visit an old lady living in a nursing home with Alzheimer's disease. As the story unfolds, it is clear that the old lady lying in a hospital bed is the heroine of the story, and the storyteller is the male protagonist.
