Child abusing parents sentenced in the UK: A mother living in the United Kingdom was recently jailed for allowing her husband to murder her five-year-old daughter, and doctors examined her child in as many as 70 places during the six-month abuse campaign.
Abdul Wahab, the stepfather of five-year-old girl Nadia Zofiya Kalinovska, was sentenced to at least 22 years in prison for murder. Her mother, Alexander Wahab, was sentenced to five and a half years in prison for conniving at the death of a child.
Nadia was found with multiple injuries at her home in Newtown Abey and subsequently died. In the early hours of the next morning, police and ambulances arrived at Newtownabbey's home.
Here, medical staff rescued little Nadia, but was eventually found unconscious and rushed to the hospital. Sadly, despite her best efforts, she died soon after.
However, amazingly, 5-year-old Nadia suffered more than 70 injuries to her body, eventually dying of head and abdominal injuries, but her skull, ribs, pelvis and collarbone were fractured in multiple places, and her brain and liver were also seriously injured. It is unimaginable what a child has suffered so young and innocent in the space of six months.
The Wahab couple, aged 35 and 29, will face legal action at the Belfast Crown Court.
As a mother, she was so ignorant of the attacks on her young daughter. How do parents want to endure it?
