Xiong Heng (329 BC – 263 BC), son of Xiong Huai, King of Chuhuai. "Zhen Xin is afraid of Xiang Qing" and "Jia Has Lao Yue Xiang" is for the King of Chu Xiang. Reigned for 36 years from 298 BC to 263 BC.

In the twenty-ninth year of King Huai of Chu (300 BC), the State of Qin attacked Chu and defeated the Chu army. Xiong Huai sent Xiong Heng as a hostage and went to the country of Qi to seek peace.

In the thirtieth year of King Huai of Chu (299 BC), Xiong Heng's father Xiong Huai was imprisoned by the State of Qin, and King Qi released Xiong Heng and succeeded to the throne of Chu.

In the nineteenth year of king Xiang of Chu (280 BC), the State of Qin attacked Chu, the Chu army was defeated, and shangyong (present-day Zhushan, Hubei) and northern Han were ceded to the state of Qin.

In the 20th year of the reign of King Xiang of Chu (279 BC), the Qin general Bai Qi led an army to attack Chu and capture the Xiling tomb of the Chu state (present-day Yichang, Hubei).

In the 21st year of the reign of King Xiang of Chu (278 BC), Bai Qi once again led an army to attack Chu, capturing the capital of the Chu state, Yingdu, and burning Yiling (in present-day Yichang, Hubei), the tomb of the former king of the Chu state.

Xiong Heng, the King of Xiang of Chu, moved the capital to Chencheng (陳城, in modern Huaiyang, Henan). At this point, the long historical chapter of Jingzhou as the capital of the Chu Kingdom has finally come to an end.

There are three questions:

First, according to the official website of Jingzhou City, 20 Chu kings built the capital of Jingzhou, using "Jiandu"; while the author used "Dingdu". I do not know whether "Dingdu Jingzhou" and "Jiandu Jingzhou" are synonymous or synonymous, but I hope there will be no ambiguity. Ask the Fang family for advice.

Second, according to the official website of Jingzhou City, 20 Chu kings built the capital of Jingzhou, and it is estimated that they did not count the Chu Ao Xiong ratio. The author believes that although Xiong Bi only served as the king of Chu for more than ten days, he was forced to commit suicide by his younger brother Xiong Ju, but there are clear records in historical materials such as "History of Chu Shijia", so the King of Chu in Jingzhou should be counted as Chu Zi Ao Xiongbi, and the total number should be 21. I don't know if this view is in line with historical facts, so I asked the Fang family to correct it.

Third, according to the official website of Jingzhou City, the Chu State built the capital of Jingzhou in 411 years. However, during the reign of Xiong Ren, the king of Chu Zhao, he once moved the capital to Yu, and the time of moving out was relatively clear, and the specific time of the capital was disputed, but it was indeed interrupted, and I don't know whether to deduct the time of relocation in these 411 years, and I had to ask the Fang family for advice.
