Recently, the Hohhot Huimin District Fire Rescue Brigade, together with the District Emergency Response Bureau, the District Urban Management Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau and the Passage Street Street Office, carried out special rectification actions on fire safety, further promoted the special work of large-scale investigation, rectification, publicity, training and drills, improved the level of fire safety management in the jurisdiction, and resolutely eliminated all kinds of fire hazards.
This operation adopts the method of "inspection, training, rectification, and education", going deep into the Yihe Lane community and surrounding roads in the jurisdiction, focusing on whether the fire truck passage setting meets the requirements of the specification, whether the vehicles are parked in violation of regulations, obstacles are set up, debris are piled up, etc., and whether the property management unit has implemented publicity and fire truck passage delineation. The inspector promptly contacted the owner of the illegally parked vehicle blocking the fire truck passage and drove away from the fire truck passage; For communities where there are fixed obstacles that affect the passage of fire trucks and where piles in the corridors block evacuation passages, inspectors urge and guide the property to carry out centralized cleaning. In addition, the inspectors also explained to the residents the importance of keeping the fire escape open by means of on-site explanations and case accounts.
At the same time, the inspectors inspected whether there was construction during the business period of each place, whether the construction personnel were certified to work, whether they were equipped with fire fighting facilities and equipment, whether the personnel on duty were in place, etc., and randomly inquired about the basic knowledge of fire protection and the use of fire extinguishers. The inspectors require all places to strictly implement the main responsibility of fire safety, establish and improve fire safety rules and regulations, and formulate targeted inspection and fire prevention measures. In response to the problems found in the inspection, the inspectors require the person in charge of the unit to make immediate rectification, and if the rectification cannot be made on the spot, it is ordered to rectify within a time limit.
In the next step, the brigade will further increase the intensity of fire hazard investigation and rectification in combination with the actual work, make every effort to eliminate fire hazards, and resolutely ensure the stability of the fire situation in the society.
