With the continuation of the two-way rush of Hong Kong and Macao residents and mainland residents to go northward and southward, and a number of large-scale performing arts activities and fireworks displays will be held in Hong Kong and Macao during the "May Day" period, the customs clearance flow of land ports adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao will increase significantly. On April 25, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Authority issued a travel reminder that according to relevant policies, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge will be exempted from tolls for small passenger cars with 7 seats and below (including driver's seats) during the 2024 Labor Day holiday, and the specific free period is from 00:00 on May 1, 2024 to 24:00 on May 5, 2024. Eligible minibuses can pass free of charge through the electronic automatic toll lane (national standard ETC, Hong Kong Autotoll users) or through the manual toll lane.
