In order to further implement the requirements of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Fire Rescue Corps on the "Special Work Plan for the Large-scale Investigation and Rectification of Fire Safety in the Region, Publicity and Training", and effectively strengthen the on-duty preparation and fire fighting and rescue work, the special service brigade of the Hohhot Fire Rescue Detachment recently organized its fire station to carry out on-site familiarization exercises in the Hohhot Children's Welfare Institute.
During the familiarization exercise, the fire rescue personnel of the second station of special service carried out the "six familiarization" work in a comprehensive and meticulous manner through "eight inspections, six tests, and four trainings", insisted on accurately and familiar with the location of the water source roads and people-intensive places around the welfare home, kept in mind the road conditions, and carefully found out the storage and use of water sources, fire extinguishing equipment and fire extinguishing agents, so as to ensure that once a fire occurs, fire rescue personnel can quickly arrive at the scene and carry out fire fighting and rescue operations.
The actual combat exercise simulated a fire on the fourth floor of the welfare home, and there were people trapped in the room. After the second special service station arrived at the scene, the commander immediately issued an operational order, set up a 15-meter ladder to rescue the trapped people, activated fixed firefighting facilities, and sent an attack team deep into the fire site to carry out a strong attack and extinguish the fire and block the spread of the fire. According to the division of labor, the team members successfully completed the exercise task.
After the exercise, the commander gave an on-the-spot commentary on the exercise, requiring all units to comprehensively increase the intensity of actual combat training; Strengthen the "six familiarization" and fire fighting and rescue drills, improve the overall disposal capacity, and ensure that once a fire occurs, it can be dealt with quickly, timely and effectively; It is necessary to strictly implement the safety operation procedures of fire fighting and rescue operations to prevent all kinds of accidents.
This familiar exercise strengthened the fire safety management of key units in the jurisdiction, enhanced the actual combat command ability of on-site commanders and the comprehensive ability and practical awareness of rescue personnel, and laid a solid foundation for ensuring the stability of the fire situation in the jurisdiction and the safety of people's lives and property.
