With a total investment of 120 million yuan and covering an area of 2,000 acres, Jinta Town Desert Ecological Agriculture Park plans to build a total of 400 high-standard solar greenhouses, of which 100 will be built in 2023, supporting the construction of 2,500 tons of cold chain warehouses, 1 agricultural product sorting and packaging workshop, and the simultaneous implementation of infrastructure projects such as road hardening, lighting and beautification in the park, the park will become a desert modern ecological agriculture demonstration park based on planting new varieties of tomatoes and melons.
"All equipped with water and fertilizer integration, automatic temperature control, automatic roller shutter facilities, we built as a single planting of watermelons, from the second half of this year, all the built solar greenhouses are planted with watermelons and new varieties of melons, and sold through order farming." This year, the village built a desert ecological agricultural park, and after understanding the advantages of the desert cultivation melon and vegetable industry and the government subsidy policy, Lao Wang spent 240,000 yuan to buy four new solar greenhouses in the park in one breath, and began to grow ordered melons and vegetables.

Since the beginning of this year, based on the endowment conditions of the county and the positioning of Gobi agricultural development, Jinta County has vigorously developed modern Silk Road cold and drought agriculture, developed a melon and vegetable industry with solar greenhouses and steel-framed arch sheds as the mainstay, and further improved the scale and efficiency of Gobi agricultural planting. The county has built 2560.45 mu of solar greenhouses and 5024.8 mu of new steel frame arch sheds. Through the establishment of demonstration sites, 102 new varieties of watermelons were promoted, with a planting area of nearly 50,000 mu. It has successively introduced large-scale seed enterprises to establish a long-term and stable watermelon seed production base in Jinta County, and has signed contracts to produce watermelon seeds for nearly 30 countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and other provinces all year round, and the watermelon planting base in the county has begun to take shape, and the former barren land has become a rich production place for growing excellent fruits and vegetables.
