Nanwenghe National Nature Reserve is a nature reserve of inland wetland and water ecosystem type, with the largest cold temperate island forest wetland group in Asia, with a forest area of 147751 hectares and a wetland area of 80,916 hectares, more than 20 large and small rivers such as Nanweng River and more than 1,000 lakes and marshes are widely distributed in the area, preserving the complete type of cold temperate primeval forest vegetation and wetland ecosystems such as waters, swamps, meadows and shrubs.
