At that time, the door machine equipment of Tianjin Port often had problems, the maintenance cycle was long, the loading speed was slow, and the port operation volume was bottlenecked. Until his retirement, Kong Xiangrui maintained a habit of climbing at least two door machines a day to check for hidden dangers in equipment. When opened, there is no problem with the slides and balls on the front of the bearing. Was the judgment wrong? But when I flipped it over, I found that there was a big problem on the back of the bearing. One more day of drying, the large bearings will be completely scrapped.

The accurate elimination of this fault has enabled Kong Xiangrui to gain the reputation of "hearing and sound interruption", and has strengthened his confidence and determination to engage in technological innovation based on the production line.

The opportunity to step into the management post has been placed in front of Kong Xiangrui many times, but he has refused one by one. "Every day with the team members, I don't want them, and I don't want these devices."

During the New Year's Festival, Kong Xiangrui always habitually ran to the front line on duty, and more than 20 Spring Festivals were not reunited with his family. He recalled that one mid-autumn night, he nervously repaired the equipment at the highest point of more than 60 meters of the door machine, and it was midnight when he was troubleshooting. In 2001, Tianjin Port was in a critical period of sprinting to a large port of 100 million tons. Throughput needs to be greatly improved, but what about the equipment or these devices, people or these people? Kong Xiangrui thought about going, and the breakthrough was still in innovation.

Kung Fu paid off, and Kong Xiangrui found that when the door machine grabbed the bucket and released the material, there was a brief pause of about 16 seconds between the lifting action. "If you use this vacancy, the efficiency will definitely increase!"

It is this innovation that directly increases the efficiency of Tianjin Port by more than 16 million yuan, and each door crane can complete an additional task of 480 tons per day.
