On October 18th, the "Nth Alai - "Alai" New Book Launch" was held in the main venue of the Tianfu Book Fair. Alai, chairman of the Sichuan Writers Association, gathered with writers, critics and media people to have a wonderful dialogue around the literary criticism collection "Alai Theory" and the cultural symbol "Alai", offering a wonderful cultural feast for online and offline readers.
As the most important Alai research treatise so far, "The Theory of Alai" is a complete review of Alai's creative career by zhang Xuexin of Liaoning Normal University and Liang Hai of Dalian University of Technology. Alai has been engaged in literary creation for nearly forty years, and Zhang Xuexin and Liang Hai have also devoted long-term attention and research to Alai and his works, and "On Alai" is part of the results of the two critics' long-term "follow-up" investigation of Alai. This new book includes eight papers on the study of Alai and the annals of Alai literature, which include both a general theory of writers and an investigation of some texts, integrating a broader horizon from different perspectives to explore and absorb the projections and deep meanings of light and shadow in Alai's literary creation.
What is the deeper reason behind the reason why Alai became "Alai" and not any other writer? Professor Zhang Xuexin conducted a classic study of Alai's works from the perspective of professional readers, and he praised Alai as a "genius writer", such writers are rare in China, and the reverence for words and the cognition of natural history and life in Alai's works are at a very high level, and reading and research are very beneficial.
Professor Chen Siguang shared how "Alai Studies" has become a well-recognized journal in the academic circles, "Alai is not only an important representative figure among ethnic writers, but also an outstanding leader in national literature, and hopes that Alai will start to expand and make the journal a platform for the study of Sichuan writers."
Li Mingquan, vice chairman of the China Literary and Art Critics Association, proposed that many of Alai's works express a kind of "divine realism", especially his novels, which have a perspective narrative writing method, which is in line with the reader's heart and intriguing.
Ah Lai looked back on his creative process, he began to write in his 20s, fell into confusion at the age of 30, and finally had an epiphany in writing, literary creation is rooted in the love of life, including the love of human beings, the love of the land, the love of mountains and rivers, the love of the world, and so on. He did not use literature to achieve the ambition of educating and leading readers, but hoped to use literature to build himself, to obtain a shortcut to thinking, and to express his love, awe and thinking about the national community and the community of life.
Subsequently, the second dialogue takes the Alai Study Room as an example to explore the figurative expression of the cultural symbol of "Alai". Alai laughed and said that everyone hopes that there is a large living room at home, which can be open to friends who love to read, and the Alai Study, located in the western industrial center, is a unique urban humanistic living room, and he hopes to recommend his favorite works to everyone here in the future, invite cultural celebrities with creative achievements to talk with them, gather young people who love to read, and chat with everyone. Luo Weizhang, an old friend of Alai and vice chairman of the Sichuan Writers Association, hopes that Alai's study room will have a broader folk nature and attract more young people to love reading. Yang Xiao, chairman of Sichuan Chuanbao Shanghang Cultural Development Co., Ltd., introduced the origin of cooperation between Sichuan News Group and Alai, and used the cultural project of Alai Study to meet the cultural needs of the people for a better life. Yu Mingmin, the concept designer of Alai Study, showed everyone the concept design drawings and design experience of Alai Study, and this Alai book fan hopes to build Alai Study into a "small hillside" where you can sit on the ground and talk about it. Li Zhenzhen, vice president of Sichuan People's Publishing House, is very much looking forward to more collision and integration between future publishing and Alai Study.
