According to the WeChat public account of Baohe District, the first urban area of Anhui, on the afternoon of June 11, the second plenary session of the seventh session of the Fourth People's Congress of Baohe District of Hefei City was held, and the conference elected Li Wei as the mayor of the Baohe District People's Government of Hefei City by secret ballot.

Li Wei, male, Han ethnicity, born in July 1976, born in Chaohu, Anhui, began working in August 1997, joined the Communist Party of China in June 2005, master of public administration.
He has successively served as deputy director of the Urban Construction Department and director of the Urban Construction Division of the Municipal Construction Commission; deputy director and member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Urban and Rural Construction Committee; member of the Standing Committee of the Baohe District Cpc Committee, deputy governor and member of the Party Group of the District People's Government; member of the Standing Committee of the Baohe District Cpc Committee, executive deputy district chief and deputy secretary of the Party Group of the District People's Government; and deputy secretary of the Baohe District Cpc Committee.
He is currently the deputy secretary of the Baohe District Party Committee and the secretary of the Party Group of the District People's Government.
