Until recently, Xiaowen suddenly disappeared in her in-laws' house, and her parents came to inquire and were told that Xiaowen ran away from home.
The truth covered up by lies is that Xiaowen did not run away from home, but was brutally killed, and her 35-year-old life suddenly disappeared.
On August 26, the Nan'an Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a notice saying that Xiaowen's father-in-law, Dai Mouhua, had confessed to the crime of killing her after a verbal altercation with her daughter-in-law Xiaowen, and that she had been criminally detained by the Public Security Bureau according to law.

After marriage, Xiaowen worked in a garment factory in the town, and Dai Mouhe worked as a doctor in a township health center in Nan'an. In the same year, Xiaowen had her own baby, and she promised that she would try to accompany her child to grow up quietly. After the birth of the child, she recorded the little bits and pieces of the child's growth on Weibo.
But gradually, her life didn't seem to be what she had originally envisioned. In August 2016, she began complaining about her life on Weibo. "Knowing that it is the infinite obedience and accommodation of the father-in-law that has cultivated the pretentious personality of the mother-in-law, why should I invisibly go farther and farther on this road?" She said that life needs to understand each other, please don't be arrogant!
In the years that followed, she often quarreled with her in-laws over trivial matters such as cooking and collecting clothes. But she also just endured silently, occasionally venting these unhappiness through Weibo.
In this way, she has been living with her in-laws and often visiting her family in Mingxin Village until August 21, 2021, when her father, Mr. Hou, received a call that she was missing.
"Dai Mouhe told us that his sister was missing." At about 1:00 a.m. on the 21st, Mr. Hou learned that Xiaowen was missing at her son-in-law's house on the morning of the 20th. On the morning of the same day, he and his wife rushed to Puzai Village to understand the situation.
During the period, Xiaowen's father-in-law Dai Mouhua took out his mobile phone and found a photo of a woman riding her daughter on the same motorcycle (unlicensed) for them to see. On the morning of the same day, son-in-law Dai Mouhe reported to the Meishan police station that Xiaowen was missing. At 2 p.m., Mr. and Mrs. Hou came to the son-in-law's house again, but still did not find any trace of their daughter. Subsequently, they contacted their daughter's colleagues and friends at the factory where they worked, but no one saw Xiaowen.

After searching for no results, Mr. Hou's family went to the Puzai Village Committee (Police Office) next door to the son-in-law's house that night to check the surveillance video, and there was a surveillance probe in the village that was just facing the intersection of the son-in-law's house.
Monitoring shows that at about 6 p.m. on the 19th, Xiaowen returned to her mother-in-law's house from work at the factory and has not come out since.
At 7:11 a.m. on the morning of the 20th, dai Mouhua, the daughter's father-in-law, pushed the motorcycle that his daughter usually rode out of his home and placed it in the village theater square. In less than 10 minutes, an unlicensed van pulled out of Xiaowen's house and headed back up the hill.
"Xiaowen must have had an accident." The Hou family immediately had such speculation. At 7:30 p.m. on the 21st, they reported the murder to the police. Subsequently, Dai Mouhe and Dai Mouhua were taken away by the police. At about 3 a.m. the next day, the daughter's mother-in-law and sister-in-law were also taken away by the police.
On the 23rd, Dai Mouhe and his mother and sister had already returned home, and only the daughter's father-in-law did not come out.
On August 26, the Nan'an Municipal Public Security Bureau issued a notice saying that on August 21, the Meishan Police Station of the Nan'an Municipal Public Security Bureau received a report from the public, saying that his wife Hou Mouwen (female, 34 years old, from Meishan Town, Nan'an City) was missing. The Bureau immediately organized a search. On the morning of August 26, Hou Mouwen's body was found. After preliminary investigation, the criminal suspect Dai Mouhua (male, 61 years old, from Meishan Town, Nan'an City, father-in-law of the deceased) confessed the facts of the crime of killing him after a verbal altercation with his daughter-in-law Hou Mouwen. Dai Mouhua has now been criminally detained by the bureau in accordance with the law. The case is currently under further consideration.

At present, Xiaowen's mother's family is handling the matter in Puzai Village. They hung a banner in front of Dai Mouhe's house that read, "Kill to pay for my life" and "Return my daughter," and there are still many villagers watching nearby. Some villagers said that Xiaowen's son was taken back by her mother's family. They also heard that Dai Mouhe's family was taken away by the police, but her father-in-law Dai Mouhua did not return.
