In May of this year, DSOGaming reported that fans had remade Tomb Raider 6: Dark Angels in Unreal Engine 4. Recently, this remake finally has new news, bringing Laura's 3D modeling demonstration, let's take a look at it
Created by Freak Raider and Konrad Majewski, this Lara looks similar to her original appearance in Tomb Raider 6 but is noticeably more detailed. The duo was able to capture Laura Crawford's original style and aesthetic, while also increasing the number of polygons in the model. The end result is that this 3D model looks exactly like the official remake we would expect to see.
DSOGaming speculates that this fan remake will be a demo project, similar to Tomb Raider 2: Xi'an Dagger. After all, it is impossible to imagine a team of two people being able to recreate all the levels and enemies in the game.
Although there is currently no estimated time for this fan remake to be completed. But the team plans to release a comprehensive and in-depth development log soon.
