On September 7, 1978, a passerby accidentally poked the famous Bulgarian writer Markov in the thigh with an umbrella, causing the latter to die mysteriously within a few days.

In 1957, Markov published his debut novel "Celsius Night", which began to emerge in the domestic literary circle.

Five years later, he won the Bulgarian Writers Association Annual Award for his novel "Man", and then joined the Bulgarian Writers Association, becoming a famous young writer at that time.

After joining the Writers' Association, Markov enjoyed the privileges of membership and received a generous treatment, so that he could devote himself fully to literary creation.

In the 60s of the 20th century, this young writer successively contributed a series of acclaimed works, a large number of scripts were adapted into TV series, and for a time, Markov became a popular new star in the domestic literary circle, and the scenery was arbitrary.

The Bulgarian Writers' Association has a high status in the cultural world, and those who are fortunate enough to be absorbed into the association are naturally listed as the elite of society, with food and clothing.

But since the beginning of the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States in 1947, small countries such as Bulgaria have gradually begun to move closer to the Soviet Union, and writers cannot export incorrect political views at the request of the state.

During the Cold War, the most "iron" country with the Soviet Union was Bulgaria, and from the 40~50s, Bulgaria successively joined the Soviet Union-led intelligence bureau, economic council, Warsaw Pact and other political, economic, and military groups.

After this, Bulgaria became an indispensable member of the Soviet camp during the Cold War, which is why Bulgaria followed the Soviet Union so much.

As soon as the news came out, it was equivalent to putting a shackle on Markov's pen barrel, and if he could not write as he wanted, then he would not be able to inherit as a writer.

After a long ideological struggle, Markov still spoke out bravely, but unfortunately his voice could not be exchanged for the echo of others, but he could not get mixed up in the country from then on.

Markov was listed as "one of the most dangerous public enemies of the state, and by this time he was regarded as a thorn in the side and a thorn in the flesh by those in power, and his work gradually disappeared."

In 1969, unable to continue living in Bulgaria, he moved to Italy, and a few years later to London, where he continued his writing career in Markov, London, unbeknownst to him, that people were already wanting his life.

On September 7, 1978, a light rain fell in the London sky, and Markov was waiting for the bus at the bus station as usual, when a man with a black umbrella came from not far away.

The appearance of the man did not attract Markov's attention, because there were often people coming and going at the station, and Markov treated the man as a guest waiting for the bus.

After standing at the station for a long time, the bus had not yet arrived, and the man seemed impatient, so he took the umbrella and ran to the taxi next to him, and when passing Markov, an umbrella accidentally fell out of the man's hand.

Coincidentally, the head of the umbrella poked Markov's leg, and Markov only felt a tingling pain at that time, and after the man hurriedly apologized to Markov, he got into a taxi and left Markov's sight.

It was just a small episode, and Markov did not pay attention to it, but what Markov did not expect was that it was this small episode that killed him.

After that day, Markov developed a high fever, followed by burning sensations in the throat and esophagus, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

Markov was admitted to the hospital, but doctors were helpless about his symptoms, some doctors believed that Markov was sepsis, others believed that it was caused by kidney failure.

In the end, Markov still died, and Markov's death caused a sensation, because he died so strangely, in order to find out his real cause of death, professionals performed an autopsy on Markov.

During the autopsy, they found a red pimple on Markov's leg, and after professional research, it was discovered that Markov was killed by a poison called ricin.

The ricin contained in castor beans is terrifying, and in the 1972 International Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons and the 1997 Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, ricin is listed as a biological and chemical weapon.

Arsenic and cyanide are relatively toxic things that everyone knows through TV series, novels, etc., but ricin is six thousand times more toxic than arsenic and cyanide! In terms of power, it can be called a crushing level.

At the beginning of the last century, after the drastic changes in the international situation, a group of long-handled umbrellas were found by the public in Bulgaria, which looked ordinary in appearance, but when disassembled, it was found that this was an elaborate air gun with the function of firing miniature bullets.

This umbrella is the same one used to assassinate Markov, and only a few milligrams of ricin are needed to fill the umbrella.

When passing by Markov's side, find an opportunity to inject ricin into his body, and you can harvest Markov's life without knowing it.
