Luxor, today is another day to lie flat.
Before you set off, you were full of ambition and thought you could travel the world. However, the reality is that the flesh is constantly asking for rest, not to mention that this is Luxor, unlike the rest of Egypt, it is wetter (still too dry for me!) because of the Nile's nourishment! So much so that sore throat attacks, blade voice).
My particular favorite is the Hermitage Garden, a century-old garden planted with precious tree species collected from all over the world and maintained and managed by 15 gardeners all year round. Trees are lined with herbs, and peacocks and flamingos are raised. The fountain pool and trees in the park also attract a variety of birds, crows, hoopoes, and many birds that I can't name.
A sight in its own right, the Hermitage Hotel is a quintessential Victorian building designed and built by the Italians a hundred years ago. Originally, it was only open in winter, hence the name "Hermitage". At that time, most of the customers were European celebrities, including Agatha, the queen of detective novels, who also stayed here, and in recent years it has also been frequented by many people.
The hotel continues its old tradition: a vintage elevator with key tags and sliding doors.
The hotel management is currently Sofitel, friends with a good budget can consider staying, the king of value for money is the Pavilion winter palace where I stay, sharing facilities with the winter palace, but the price is only 1/3 of its price.
