After careful inventory by the enterprise, the e-commerce platform found that a total of 8 mobile phones and 17 4T solid-state drives were transferred, with a value of 120,000 yuan.
It is related to the reputation and business order of the Internet e-commerce platform, and the relevant cases have been highly valued by the police, and the Jiading Public Security Sub-Bureau quickly established a special case team to carry out investigation work. Before the facts of the case are clear, there is a possibility of committing crimes in all links such as mobile phone supply, transportation, warehousing, sales, and express delivery. To this end, the task force checked one by one, and found that the goods sold by Jingdong are genuine licensed goods, related electronic products can be traced, and commodity manufacturers can also provide relevant certificates of related goods, and the transportation and warehousing links of the e-commerce platform are implemented 24-hour dynamic monitoring, from warehousing to packaging, outbound are well documented, the operation is very standardized, no relevant loopholes have been found, and the possibility of problems in all links of the platform can be basically ruled out.

Mystery buyers frequently return goods
According to the fact that these electronic products had sales records, the police traced the source one by one according to the clues of the payment, and found that although there were multiple people who purchased these electronic products, they all revolved around Zhang and Zheng and their connections. They buy and return a common feature, that is, buy once in three or five places, return once, arrive in the morning and return in the afternoon, which is likely to be the usual trick of the two suspects. Although, several other purchasing accounts are involved, but this is most likely a trick used by criminals. Through simultaneous online and offline investigation work to find out the possible flow of these goods, the police found that the two sold relevant goods on the second-hand electronic goods platform. On the basis of collecting relevant conclusive evidence, the police subsequently arrested the criminal suspects Zhang and Zheng in Jiading and Qingpu on March 7 and March 17 respectively.

After interrogation, the two confessed to their crimes. It turned out that the two of them were motivated by finances, and when they saw the "seven-day no reason to return" service provided by JD.com, they cleverly dropped their bags for profit.
Zhang bought an Apple mobile phone model machine for more than a dozen yuan online, removed the sealing strip of the real machine, replaced it with a model machine, and then attached the sealing strip, thinking that it was seamless.
Zheng, on the other hand, bought similar small-capacity hard disks cheaply through second-hand platforms, and stripped off the labels of the new hard disks purchased and pasted them on the counterfeit goods in an attempt to hide the sky. After illegally obtaining these mobile phones and hard drives through such a modus operandi, the two sold them through online platforms to make a profit.
At present, both have been criminally detained by the police on suspicion of fraud, and the two expressed remorse after arriving at the case and returned the corresponding payment. The case is under further investigation.
There is no escape for electronic credit
In this case, the two suspects attempted to disguise the crime as a civil dispute under the pretext of the "seven-day no-reason return" terms of service. However, their malicious application for refunds of "fake for real" and "shoddy charging" has been suspected of fraud.
After the case was solved, the police also further cooperated with relevant e-commerce platforms to sort out similar situations in the return process, and carried out police-enterprise cooperation to avoid the recurrence of such cases.
The police remind that such scams seem clever but are actually clumsy, online orders are based on personal credit, and it is only a matter of time before the case is caught.
