I live in Yantai and the target fish mentioned in this article may be more northern. But the theories involved are universal.

The above are three categories and not three. Remember when I mentioned in the previous part that "the species of fish caught in the hole are very abundant"?
In the flat carp you may catch Xu's flat catfish (black carp), armored flat carp (little daughter-in-law, flower girl), black flat carp, Dalian flat carp (fire qi flow), brown calamus (stone dog gong) and so on. You may catch Otaki six-line fish (yellow fish stick), forked six-line fish, and spotted fish (purple hook). There are many species of owls/woolly rays, and I don't know exactly. These are our main fishing species, and there are many cave fishing species that come in the form of unexpected surprises that will not be described in detail.
All in all, fish species are abundant.
The abundance of fish species is not the point, the point is: what are the common habits or characteristics of these fish that are conducive to fishing? This is actually something I'm more concerned about. Because I believe that what really determines the level of an angler may not be the technology, but more about the knowledge of the fish.
Our target fish are mainly flat carp, six-lined fish and ferocious brocade fish. You can see that they are all bottom reef fish.

First, be greedy and bold

This type of fish is very gluttonous and less picky about bait. Often we can use shrimp meat, chicken can, fish can also. In addition, polychaetes, cephalopods can be. Even the rainbows, sea oysters, and small crabs we catch at the beach can be used for fishing.

They eat bait very fiercely, and they easily do not spit out hooks after eating it. In addition, if they don't eat it for the first time, they will come to eat bait repeatedly. That is: they are not sensitive to danger.
In this way, we are not so fine in making fishing sets and fishing methods, and we can often wait for the "dead mouth".
Second, hide at the bottom of the cave
This class of reef fish are hidden at the very bottom of these caves, notably "most". Although advertising laws can't talk about the most, I would like to emphasize repeatedly: they live at the bottom (if you have experienced it, you know the benefits of this).

So the closer our fishing group gets to this bottom, the better the harvest. This means that we will face more risk of hanging on the bottom and breaking the line. Combined with the characteristics of this type of fish gluttonous hook, it is possible to use relatively thicker line sets and heavier fishing drops to help the bait reach the fishing point quickly. Third, hide during the day
The hole fishing method is one of the fishing methods we use during the day. The main reason is that the target fish we catch hides in its burrows during the day and swims out of its burrows at night.
