Sanming City Butterfly New Record Species! Found here "weft toe butterfly"

According to the Report of Sanming Network on September 25, the staff of Yong'an Tianbaoyan Conservation Area found a new butterfly on the side of a flower field in the community village on September 23, which is similar to the more common toeless butterfly, but has a prominent gray-white longitudinal band on the ventral surface of the wing. After consultation, it was confirmed that it was a new record species in the reserve, the weft belt toe butterfly, and also a new record species of butterflies in Yong'an City and Sanming City.

The male has a brown front, 1 small white spot at the apex of the forewing, 1 white spot in the middle domain, and 2 white spots in the middle domain of the female ; a prominent off-white longitudinal band with a dark blue luster on the ventral surface of the wing, and black spots on the horns of the hindwings. Adult insects are easy to see from May to September, and are distributed in Guangxi, Guangdong, Yunnan, Hainan, Fujian and other places in China.
