The brown-faced warbler lives mostly in the south, with a body length of 10 cm, and is a brightly colored and characteristic warbler. The head is chestnut with black side crests. The upper body is green and the waist is yellow. The lower body is white , the chin and throat are covered with black spots , and the upper thorax is yellow. It is distinguished from the chestnut-headed warbler in that it is chestnut on the side of the head, with inconspicuous white eye circles and no wing spots. The South Asian species has a heavier brownish red face and a darker upper body color. The iris is brown, the upper mouth is dark, the lower mouth is light, and the feet are pink brown.
The brown-faced warbler inhabits broad-leaved and bamboo forests below 2500 m above sea level, and is mostly active alone or in pairs during the breeding season, and also in groups in other seasons. Frequently flying between the branches, mostly flying in the air to prey. The sound is crisp and crisp, and its sound is like "bell, bell, bell...". Feeds mainly on insects and insect larvae.
Liupan Mountain is between 1900 and 2900 meters above sea level, and in recent years, there has been abundant rainfall, and the ecological environment is suitable for this bird to live.
