Since the 80s of the 20th century, a number of local companies have begun to export prepared dishes to Japan and other countries and regions. After nearly 40 years of development, Laiyang City has formed a full-category, full-chain prefabricated vegetable industry system such as "vegetables, livestock and poultry, aquatic products, and pastries", with a production capacity of 760,000 tons of prefabricated vegetables in 2022 and a comprehensive output value of the industrial chain exceeding 10 billion yuan. 2. France became the first country to be approved to export soft date kiwifruit to China
On April 14, the General Administration of Customs of China issued an announcement that it will allow the import of French fresh soft dates and kiwis that meet the relevant requirements from now on. On April 5~7, during the state visit of French President Emmanuel Macron, the two sides issued the Sino-French Joint Statement (hereinafter referred to as the "Statement"), in which Article 19 of the cooperation in agriculture mentioned the content of "opening the market to (French) soft date kiwifruit".
It is understood that soft date kiwi (commonly known as soft dates), known as "kiwiberry" abroad, is the most miniature and hardy variety in the genus Kiwifruit. In March 2016, AQSIQ banned the import of kiwiberries (soft date kiwifruit) in New Zealand, mainly due to biosecurity risk considerations.
