On the evening of September 14, on National Highway 321 in Gaotian Town, Yangshuo County, a large truck collided with a bus, causing the truck driver and four passengers on the bus to be injured and trapped. It is reported that there were 35 passengers on the bus at the time of the incident.

At about 9:10 p.m. on September 14, the Guilin Fire Rescue Detachment rushed to the scene to deal with it after receiving the police. After arriving at the scene, rescuers found that a truck and a bus collided head-on, causing the two vehicles to deform to varying degrees and the parts of the vehicle scattered on the ground. The driver of the large truck was trapped in the cab, while 4 passengers were trapped inside the bus, and about 30 passengers were left out on their own.

During the rescue, firefighters found that the body of the driver of the large truck was stuck in the gap between the driver's seat and the steering wheel and could not move. Firefighters carefully removed the driver.

Firefighters then removed the glass on the side of the bus and used stretchers to move the injured 4 passengers out of the window. It is reported that the injured person has been sent to the hospital for treatment, and the injury is stable.
At present, the cause of the accident is under further investigation.
