Jimu News reporters learned from the Songjiang Procuratorate that on September 22, 2020, the Songjiang District People's Procuratorate approved the arrest of criminal suspect Tian Mou on suspicion of forced indecency in accordance with the law. On November 19, the Songjiang District People's Procuratorate prosecuted criminal suspect Tian Mou on suspicion of forced indecency in accordance with the law. After investigation, from the evening of August 31 to the early morning of September 1, the victim and others went to Tian's home to discuss the script, and Houtian took advantage of the victim's drunkenness to forcibly molest him.

According to Red Star News, on August 31, 2020, the victim (female) came to Tian Rui's home with an alumnus to discuss the script, and after drinking during dinner, the victim was molested after falling asleep.

After the incident, defendant Tian Rui denied the forced indecent act, saying that all the acts occurred voluntarily by both parties, and Tian Rui's defense lawyer made a not-guilty defense.
