In the interval after the end of a sub-forum, He Jun, vice president of TCL Industry and CEO of Gechuang Dongzhi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Gechuang Dongzhi), was interviewed by a few media such as the Daily Economic News.

Founded in 2018, Gechuang Dongzhi is an industrial Internet enterprise under TCL. He Jun believes that after these years of development, the industrial Internet has emerged new trends such as "more sinking", "more vertical", "localization" and "soft and hard integration".

<h2>Four new trends have emerged in the industry</h2>

The Industrial Internet is known to many as the next Industrial Revolution. In recent years, large manufacturing companies, Internet giants, traditional software companies, and entrepreneurial companies have entered the industry from different dimensions.

Because of the Internet attributes, many industrial Internet companies initially aimed to be a platform, hoping that like the consumer Internet, a software or a business model "hit the world". But when they really came in, they found that the industrial scenario applications of each industry and each enterprise were very different, complex and fragmented.

He Jun said that the first new trend in the industry is "more sinking". Sinking means getting closer to the scene and releasing the value of the entire business from within the scene. In the past, everyone was talking about how to do platformization, standardization, and energy was placed in those places, but recently it has gradually realized that it is necessary to sink further and realize the value of the platform in the middle of the scene, so as to truly release the potential of the entire manufacturing industry.

Associated with "sinking", another trend in the industry is "more vertical". He Jun said that in the past few years, the state has vigorously promoted digital platforms, and now it has begun to promote vertical industry platforms, which is also because the differences between all walks of life are too large, and it is very difficult to unify the standard system between sub-industries and sub-industries. So we must make the platform deeper in key sub-industries.

Gechuang Dongzhi is no exception, and the company is currently mainly concentrated in the field of pan-semiconductors. When deeply cultivating semiconductors, He Jun found that if the industry wants to go deeper, there are also many "hard bones" to gnaw: based on the platform, it is necessary to do industrial software that meets business needs; it must be able to extend to the business end and the support end; and it also has the ability to understand many personalized needs of the business. Only in this way can we truly transform the manufacturing industry with a new architecture.

The third trend is "localization". He Jun said that most of the Chinese software companies focusing on pan-semiconductor software research and development are not large in scale, but they are actually very deep, Gechuang Dongzhi hopes to lead these companies to do software localization independent innovation in the semiconductor industry, and some excellent foreign pan-semiconductor software can also become the force of localization independent innovation. During the conference, Gechuang Dongzhi, TOGETHER WITH AIM, Shangyang Software, Greyelli, Zheta and Weixun, jointly launched the "Pan-Semiconductor Forerunner Joint Plan" to jointly provide a more complete platform and software solution for pan-semiconductor manufacturing enterprises.

The last one is "soft-hard fusion". He Jun believes that from the first day of the birth of the industrial Internet platform, everyone was talking about IT and OT integration, but at that time, it was just some pure device interconnection, very shallow. Today, if you want to be more valuable, you must have a deep understanding of the equipment of the enterprise and how to do a good job of intelligence. Its software is not the traditional sense of production software, must do more algorithms, this piece is actually a deep change, further promote the potential of the factory.

<h2>The Industrial Internet will be decentralized and then concentrated</h2>

Under the new trend of the industry, the reshuffle of industrial Internet companies is accelerating sharply. According to the reporter's understanding, industrial Internet companies with different industry backgrounds have their own different "confusion". For example, consumer Internet companies, after they enter the industrial Internet, are faced with the "confusion" of subdivision industries that are not familiar with and difficult to sink; for entrepreneurial industrial Internet companies, it is difficult to open the market, because in the production field, stability is quite important, and customers often dare not rush to update the system;

He Jun believes that the current industrial Internet industry is actually very scattered, in the case of dispersion, do industrial Internet platform enterprises, if you continue to do according to the original idea, growth will be limited. However, dispersion also has advantages, and everyone forms their own advantages in the field they are good at, and then increases the concentration in the sub-industry first. Therefore, He Jun feels that the industry will go through a process of first dispersion and then concentration.

He Jun also believes that "sinking" does not mean that there is no ability to cross several industries. For example, Gechuang Dongzhi is not only doing semiconductors, but now mainly lays out three major industries (semiconductors, new energy, and 3C electronics), and also involves steel, auto parts, equipment and other industries. Sink in an industry first, in the process of sinking, constantly seek standardization, and then develop it horizontally across industries.

He Jun feels that in the case of reuse and standardization, based on the characteristics of the industry, more sinking is needed, and the degree of customization will be relatively high. However, in the future, for many software, the degree of standardization will increase to 80% to 90%. He Jun believes that in the future, these industrial Internet platform technologies will still have versatility.
