Murad IV was the 14th sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and according to historical records, this sultan was very strong and had amazing power. Murad IV often used weapons weighing up to 120 pounds, while the longbow he used required two people to pull.
Murad IV was born in 1612 AD and was imprisoned as a child. At the age of eleven, his uncle Mustafa I suffered from severe mental illness, which led to Murad IV being released and becoming the new sultan of the Ottoman Empire.
When he grew up, Murad IV was very tall and strong, his shoulders were so broad that even the best wrestlers could not wrestle him to the ground.
The Ottoman ministers were very afraid of Murad IV because of his very short temper. Murad IV often roamed around wearing civilian or soldier clothing to check whether the soldiers were seriously carrying out his orders and whether any soldiers spoke ill of him, and when this happened, the irascible Murad IV would not hesitate to draw his weapon.
Murad IV liked to use a mace weighing 120 pounds, and whenever he appeared on the battlefield with a huge mace, he would make the enemy dare not attack him.
After Murad IV became sultan, he was given a longbow from Iran, which weighed so much that it took two people to pull. And Murad IV himself can use this longbow, which shows how amazing his power is.
The envoys of the Mughal Empire in India, in order to test the strength of Murad IV, took out a very strong shield, hoping that Murad IV could shoot through this shield with an arrow. And Murad IV, with his own longbow, easily shot through this shield, which had never been shot through the battlefield before.
It is said that during Murad IV's expedition to Baghdad, he killed four assassins who tried to assassinate him in one night. In the Ottoman Empire at that time, there were often cases of Janissaries assassinating the Sultan, but these Assassins chose the wrong opponent, and when they stormed the tent where Murad IV was resting, Murad IV, who was awakened, immediately prepared for battle, using a mace to kill the four Assassins.
