Cai Ying, Secretary of the Guangming District Party Committee, said in her speech that Guangming is the youngest administrative district in Shenzhen, the pilot area of the comprehensive national science center in the Greater Bay Area, and is making every effort to build a world-class science city and the northern center of Shenzhen, where innovation momentum is surging, quality life is accessible, and humanistic vitality is bursting, and it has become a hot land for development and a happy home favored by enterprises and yearned for by talents.
In recent years, Guangming has adhered to the industrial area and manufacturing strong area, focused on building a "pioneer area for industrial agglomeration development" and "an important source of core technologies" for smart sensors, focused on promoting the deep integration of innovation chain, industrial chain, capital chain and talent chain, and fully promoted the high-quality development of intelligent sensor industry clusters.
- In terms of industrial chain, Guangming District has a number of leading enterprises such as OFILM and Xintai Optics, as well as a number of national "specialized, specialized and new" small giant enterprises such as Nudiri Technology and Meisi Advanced Electronics; The layout and construction of a new industrial community of intelligent sensing in the Greater Bay Area can supply more than 2 million square meters of high-quality industrial space.
- In terms of innovation chain, Guangming is building five innovation platforms, including a heterogeneous heterogeneous silicon-based photonic chip process platform and a high-end scientific research instrument research center, and laying out and building the first 8-inch MEMS pilot line with a production capacity of 3,000 pieces in the Greater Bay Area, which can provide key support for enterprises to break through the technical bottleneck of optoelectronic chips and accelerate the industrialization process of achievements.
- In terms of capital chain, the Guangming Science City Fond-Fund with a total scale of 15 billion yuan, the "Smart Sensor Industry Fund" with a total scale of 5 billion yuan, and the "Guangming Science City Science and Technology Finance Special Fund Plan" with a total scale of 10 billion yuan have been launched, which can solve the financing needs of enterprises in the start-up, growth and maturity stages in a targeted manner.
- In terms of talent chain, Sun Yat-sen University Shenzhen Campus, Shenzhen University of Science and Technology, and the Guangming Advanced Research Institute of Southern University of Science and Technology, which has been introduced and landed, focus on cultivating talents in the fields of integrated circuits, intelligent engineering, and new materials, which can provide intellectual support and continuous innovation power for industrial development.
Chen Huaping, member of the party group and deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, pointed out that Guangming District is a key area of Shenzhen's intelligent sensor industry layout, carrying the mission of pilot maturation and industrialization demonstration, at present, municipal MEMS pilot line, intelligent sensor industry fund and other important industrial resources have clearly settled in Guangming. In November 2022, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Guangming District Government to jointly promote major advanced manufacturing projects, including smart sensors, to take root and bear fruit in Guangming.
Shen Huaxin, member of the Standing Committee of the Guangming District Party Committee and deputy mayor of the district, focused on the overview, policy and space of the intelligent sensor industry in Guangming District at the meeting. It is reported that at present, Guangming District focuses on the industrial layout in four fields such as design, manufacturing, packaging and testing, and application, strengthens international collaboration, application traction, and strives to open up the upstream and downstream industrial chains, achieve agglomeration development, and create a good ecology. It is worth noting that a number of measures "tailored" by Guangming District to support the high-quality development of the industrial cluster for the smart sensor industry have been introduced a few days ago, and the maximum subsidy amount for enterprises can reach 50 million yuan.

At the conference, the Guangming District Government signed a contract with Ningbo Keli Sensor Technology Co., Ltd., and the headquarters of Derongbao China and Derongbao Sensor Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. were unveiled.
It is reported that Keli Sensing is one of the main leaders in the research and development and promotion and application of the Internet of Things in the global weighing field, and plans to build a R&D center and a high-end manufacturing base in Guangming District; As the world's largest digital platform for the intelligent sensor industry, its settlement in Guangming can provide a digital platform for global sensor companies to form a "distributed" scientific research and innovation in Shenzhen, and provide strong support for resource flow and technology and information sharing.
