Robert Taylor (August 5, 1911 – June 8, 1969) was an American film and television actor born in Nebraska, who graduated from Pomona College. In 1936, she starred in the romance film "La Traviata". In 1937, he starred in the crime film "Don't Let Go". In 1940, he starred in the Hollywood romance film "Soul Break Blue Bridge". In 1942, he starred in "Double Male Blood". In 1946, he starred in the black thriller "Newlywed Havoc". In 1951, he starred in the historical film "The Tyrant Burns the City". In 1952, he starred in the romance film "The Legend of the Hero After the Disaster". In 1954, he won the Most Popular Actor Award at the 11th Golden Globe Awards. In 1964, he starred in the horror film The Night Walker. Robert Taylor died of lung cancer in the United States in 1969 at the age of 57.
