The salaries of Mr. Yao Mushuang and Zhou Baichun are very high. It is said that Yao Zhou's monthly salary in the 1950s was 1800 yuan each, and at that time, the house price in the downtown area of Shanghai was about 600 yuan, and he could sing three houses a month. Zhou Libo was originally recruited by Mr. Zhou Baichun to the academy (there is also a saying that Mr. Yan Shunkai, who played "Ah Q", was recruited, and the same batch of recruits were "little funny" Qian Cheng and others). Zhou Libo acted in burlesque in the early days, and the path he took was also cold-faced funny, and it was also quite popular. Later, Zhou Libo returned to Shanghai from Japan to talk about Haipai Qingkou (the more famous ones are "garlic coffee saying", "shark fin rice saying", etc.), which was all the rage. Born in Shanghai in 1943, Wang Huiquan was adopted as an apprentice by Zhou Baichun at the age of 18 and died in 2002 at the age of 59. Wang Huiquan became famous in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, not in Shanghai. Although he was not sentenced, the administrative punishment for Wang was "to stay in the regiment for probation and not to be reused at any time and on any occasion", and he certainly did not mix well in Shanghai. Through his own efforts, Wang Huiquan slowly became famous in the comical circles of Shanghai and Zhejiang, and he actually took the road of "rural encirclement of the city" - first becoming famous in small city theater troupes around Shanghai, and then establishing a business in Shanghai.
Compared with the cross-talk in the north, Shanghai's one-man show burlesque has been very sluggish. Those burlesque actors don't know what they're eating on? Now, Wang Rugang only goes abroad once a week to talk about old Shanghai in the TV newsroom, and other actors, regardless of age, age, fame and fame, have basically "not done their jobs".
Before the new crown, Mao Mengda and Shen Ronghai, the old duo, performed a one-man show in the Chinese Grand Theater - "The Laughter of Shikumen" was hard to find, and it was more or less saving face for practitioners in this profession.
