Guo Jia is not dead, Kong Ming is not out?

author:Roc tells history

The phrase "Guo Jia does not die, Kong Ming does not come out" is also said to be "Guo Jia does not die, Wolong does not come out", or "Guo Jia dies, the dragon and phoenix come out of the mountain" and so on, and these statements have risen on the Internet. The reasons for this should be the following two reasons:

One. The time of Guo Jia's death occurred in the same year as Kong Ming's departure from the mountain, and Kong Ming came out of the mountain only after Guo Jia's death, so there is a time coincidence.

Two. Some historians and literary works over-praise Guo Jia, and some literary and artistic film and television works deliberately praise Guo Jia. And the purpose of this is nothing more than to earn traffic.

Guo Jia is not dead, Kong Ming is not out?

Guo Jia is a very skilled strategist, there is no doubt about it. And if we talk about the strongest advisers of the three countries, even military experts, strategists, thinkers, politicians, and literary scholars, it is Zhuge Kongming. Therefore, there is simply no "Guo Jia does not die, Kong Ming does not come out".

Guo Jia's fame, which makes people most relish, is that after the defeat of the Chibi army, Cao Cao escaped with his life in Huarong Road, and Cao Ren led the troops to respond, and after the shock was settled, Cao Cao suddenly beat his chest, howled, and said while crying:

"Guo Fengxiao is here, don't let you be alone here!"

What Cao Cao meant by saying this was that if Guo Jia was here, he would definitely see through Zhou Yu and Huang Gai's scheme, so that there would be no defeat of Chibi. As Mao Zonggang said:

"Cao Cao cried before Dian Wei, and then cried Guo Jia, although crying is the same, and so crying is different; Crying Wei Zhi weeps, so he feels the generals Tuya, and weeps Guo Jiazhi crying, so he is ashamed of all the advisers. ”

The main reason why Cao Cao had the defeat of Chibi was that Cao Cao came from afar, the soldiers were tired, and they were not satisfied. In this case, even Guo Jia has no way to turn defeat into victory. Of course, if Guo Jia could persuade Cao Cao to go north early, in this way, the defeat of Chibi could still be avoided. But obviously, Guo Jia could not persuade Cao Cao, who was already full of confidence at that time, and some people would say: "Cao Cao has always obeyed Guo Jiayan, and he even pointed at Guo Jia and said to other advisers, 'Whoever makes solitude a great cause will also be this person!'" In this way, how could Cao Cao not listen to Guo Jia's words? ”

However, when Guo Jia was alive, his status in Cao Cao's mind was not as high as we thought. First of all, Guo Jia held the position of air force priest, which was not an official of the imperial court, but a self-employed position in Cao Cao's palace, and there were dozens of such positions at that time, whose duty was to take charge of the precepts, that is, to administer military law, similar to military judges. Comparing other advisers, before the Battle of Guandu, Xun Yu was Shang Shuling, Xun Yu was Ru Nan Taishou, Jia Xu was Jia Xu, Cheng Yu was successively appointed as Shang Shu, Dongzhong Lang General, Jiyin Taishou, and Fenwu General, Dong Zhao was Henan Yin, and Jizhou Mu. Of course, after pacifying Jizhou, Guo Jia also had to be made the Marquis of Tingyang, but Xun Yu, Zhong Xiu, Xiahou Wei, Yu Ban, Lejin, Li Tong, Cheng Yu and other marquis were all much earlier than Guo Jia, so Guo Jia's status in Cao Cao's mind was not as high as we thought.

Guo Jia is not dead, Kong Ming is not out?

Secondly, in the third year of Emperor Xian of Han (198 AD), Liu Bei was broken by Lü Bu and came to attach himself to Cao Cao, Cheng Yu once suggested to Cao Cao to kill Liu Bei to avoid future troubles, Cao Cao did not kill Liu Bei for fame, Guo Jia, inspired by Cheng Yu, thought that Liu Bei assisted Yu and Zhang Fei, and if he did not kill, he would eventually raise tigers, so he secretly saw Cao Cao and let Cao Cao put Liu Bei under house arrest, but Cao Cao ignored Guo Jia's advice, and became closer to Liu Bei. Therefore, Cao Cao's statement that "Guo Fengxiao is here, and he will not be alone here" is simply deceiving himself and is completely untrustworthy.

The Ming Dynasty thinker Li Yin once said:

"People say that if Guo Fengxiao is there, there is no Shu in the west and no Wu in the east! This is also the words of a child. At that time, Fengxiao died, and there were still many people who were wise to deserve filial piety, so why did he score three points? ”

In addition, some people like to say that Guo Jia in the "Records of the Three Kingdoms" is "talented, strategic, and the wizard of the world", but Guo Jia is combined with Cheng Yu, Dong Zhao, Liu Ye, Jiang Ji and others in the "Records of the Three Kingdoms", and the original text of this sentence in the "Records of the Three Kingdoms" is:

"Cheng Yu, Guo Jia, Dong Zhao, Liu Ye, and Jiang Jicai strategize, although the Qing rule is virtuous, it is different from Xun Fu, and the planning is expected, it is Qi Lunye."

That is to say, the strategy is strategic, there are five people in the world, not Guo Jia alone, this must be noted.

The most proud thing in Guo Jia's life is that on the eve of the Battle of Guandu, in order to cheer up Cao Cao, Guo Jia once published "Ten Victories and Ten Defeats", and these arguments are all generalized official-style articles from today's perspective, and the "Dao Sheng, Righteous Victory, Zhi Sheng, Du Sheng, Mo Sheng, De Sheng, Ren Sheng, Ming Sheng, Wen Sheng, Wu Sheng" proposed in this article, these are applicable to anyone, and Cao Cao said after hearing it at that time:

Guo Jia is not dead, Kong Ming is not out?
"As Qing said, Lonely He is also worthy of virtue!"

Of course, history will not judge the victor, and if Cao Cao won the battle of Guandu, then Guo Jia's argument is a theory of victory. However, what everyone doesn't know is that before Guo Jia went on the "Theory of Ten Wins and Ten Defeats", Xun Yu had proposed the four victories of "degree victory, strategy victory, virtue victory, and martial victory", and Jia Xu proposed "clear victory, courageous victory, employment victory, and decisive victory", then, we can ask "Are Guo Jia's ten victories synthesized on the basis of Xun and Jia?" The Qing Dynasty scholar Shen Jiaben believed that this was an afterthought of good deeds.

In addition, Guo Jia's "counting Sun Ce" is even more stunning, what is going on? The thing went like this: when Cao Cao and Yuan Shao were confronting each other in Guandu, news came from the rear that Sun Ce was preparing to send troops to cross the river and attack Xu Capital in the north, and when Cao Cao heard the news, he was shocked and had the intention of retiring.

"The strategy is light and unprepared, although there are millions of people, it is tantamount to walking alone in the Central Plains. If the assassin rises, the enemy of one person. If I see it, I will die at the hands of my husband! ”

Shortly after Guo Jiayan, Sun Ce was killed by assassins. I want to say that this method of deification and falsification is really clumsy.

In fact, don't look at the "Three Kingdoms Zhi Guo Jia Biography" that Guo Jia once offered advice for Cao Cao to recruit Lü Bu Liu Bei, and then suggested to Cao Cao to falsely recruit Liu Biao, so that Yuan Tan Yuan Shang was confused, and also advocated Cao Cao's northern expedition to Wuhuan, etc., very talented, however, as long as combined with the biographies of Xun Yu, Xun Yu, Jia Xu, Cheng Yu and others, it is not difficult to conclude that the above scheme is actually agreed upon by these people, but Guo Jia is more decisive and dares to hammer the final word, so these credits seem to be Guo Jia's, Not really.

Guo Jia is not dead, Kong Ming is not out?

Therefore, words similar to "Guo Jia does not die, Kong Ming does not come out" is simply a ridiculous joke!
