On the same day, Cao Followed the Wind and led everyone into the front line of disaster relief. In Berlin Village, Dayugou Town, Gongyi, Zhengzhou, which was severely affected, Cao Suifeng first led more than a dozen people to send first-aid supplies and condolences to villagers who had been out of water and power for several days. After a day's work, everyone did not complain. Early the next morning, Cao Suifeng led everyone to Laoqigou Village and Chenzhuang Village in Xinmi Dakui Town, Zhengzhou. Because the road was washed away, vehicles could not reach the entrance of the village, and relief supplies had to be carried into the village by shoulder. Cao followed the wind as a pioneer and walked 2 kilometers with supplies on his back to the home of the four brothers of Yuan Liumin, a hard-hit household.

From July 21 to 28, Cao Suifeng and his friends braved the scorching sun and sweltering heat to run through 23 severely affected villages and resettlement sites in Zhengzhou City, such as Gongyi, Xinmi, Xingyang, and Xinxiang City, to deliver daily necessities to the affected people and solve their urgent needs.
