In addition, it is worth noting that combined with the territorial spatial planning of the Yangtze River Delta Ecological Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, the intercity railway will plan a new Shanghai-Sujia line, which will connect the two districts and counties of Shanghai Qingpu, Jiangsu Wujiang and Zhejiang Jiashan and Hongqiao in the demonstration area.

Hua Yuan, deputy secretary general of the Shanghai Municipal Government, director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and director of the Yangtze River Delta Regional Cooperation Office, introduced the "report card" of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta in the past three years. He mentioned that in the past three years, the "Yangtze River Delta" has been changing with each passing day, in the field of transportation, railway projects such as the first phase of the Shanghai-Suzhou Railway have been completed and opened, railway projects such as the Shanghai-Suzhou Lake Railway have been accelerated, and the total mileage of the Yangtze River Delta high-speed railway has exceeded 6,000 kilometers. The first batch of 9 interprovincial broken roads involving Shanghai have been completed and opened to traffic, 2 are accelerating construction, and Shanghai has opened 29 bus passenger transport links in adjacent areas of Shanghai and Suzhou and Shanghai and Zhejiang. Wuhu, Nanjing, Jiangyin, Suzhou and other major ports to achieve container river-sea direct transportation to Yangshan deep-water port, the construction of a world-class port cluster integrated governance system and other key work in an orderly manner.
In addition, the reporter also learned that at the beginning of 2018, the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta jointly prepared and implemented the "Three-year Action Plan for the Integrated Development of the Yangtze River Delta Region (2018-2020)". After assessment, of the 320 tasks identified in the Three-Year Action Plan, 263 have been completed, 55 continued to advance, and 2 have been transferred due to changes in construction conditions. Overall, the goals and tasks set forth in the first round of the Three-Year Action Plan have been successfully completed, and remarkable progress has been made in cooperation in various fields. In May this year, a new round of the Three-Year Action Plan was implemented. The text framework of the new three-year action plan is divided into two parts: the main text and the annex, and the work task list of the annex sorts out 217 specific tasks according to the three categories of major projects, major policies and major matters, including 21 key cooperation matters such as building the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center and promoting the linkage development of the Yangtze River Delta Pilot Free Trade Zone.
