The second season of "Blossoms" welcomed performance artist Pan Hong to join. Following the star version of "Thunderstorm" in 2004, after 17 years, Pan Hong chose the second season of the stage play "Blossoms" to embark on the stage that has been separated for a long time. This season's performance also includes many outstanding Shanghainese actors, and the first season of actors challenge new roles. On the afternoon of September 30, the second season of "Blossoms" will start selling tickets.
In the 2004 star version of "Thunderstorm", Pan Hong cooperated with Pu Cunxin, Da Shichang, Tian Hairong, Fang Shu, Lei Kesheng, Tong Ruixin, etc., she played "Prosperity", and also pushed away the TV series invitation. Pan Hong said: "Playing a prosperous role is the dream of every actress, and if you give up this opportunity, it will be a regret of a lifetime." 17 years later, "Blossoms" once again made Pan Hong's heart move and stepped onto the stage. The stage play "Blossoms" is based on Kim Woo-cheng's novel of the same name, "Blossoms", and the creative concept of "stage drama" was established at the beginning of the premiere in 2018, and it is planned to complete the stage interpretation of this huge work in three seasons, and the three seasons are independent and interrelated.
The first season of the stage drama "Blossoms" crossed the two timelines in the 1960s and 1990s, using the process of the three brothers Ah Bao, Hu Sheng and Xiao Mao in the original book from "acquaintance to renunciation" as a clue. The second season of the stage play "Blossoms" depicts how the three brothers went from "breaking off their friendship to reuniting" and stringing together the story of the new season. More than a dozen new characters flew flowers and butterflies, Tao Tao, Mei Rui, Xiaoqin, Chunxiang, Xuezhi, Teacher Li, Fang Mei, Pan Jing, Lingzi, Ah Bao's father and so on appeared one after another.
As the middle of the "Blossom Trilogy", the second season is an important piece of the puzzle that continues from the past to the future, focusing on the tough and unique character of the city, dedicated to the people who are still struggling to move forward despite the wind and rain, but also to those who seem meaningless, but will eventually shine in the picture of life.

As of the "box-enclosed performance" in 2021, the first season of the stage play "Blossoms" has been performed 56 times in four years, and has won the 2019 One Drama Awards Annual Drama Award and the Best Innovative Repertoire Award at the 2nd Chinese Drama Festival. Screenwriter Wen Fangyi won the best screenwriter of the year at the 2019 One Drama Awards for this drama. At the end of 2020, the co-producer Shanghai Wenguang Performing Arts Group and Shanghai Wumeng Culture opened the conception and creation of the second season of the stage drama "Blossoms", following the "Golden Triangle of Creation" model led by the original author Jin Yucheng, screenwriter Wen Fangyi and director Ma Junfeng, and strived to maintain the artistic standards of the previous season.
The second season of the stage drama "Blossoms" is conducted by the famous stage designer Liu Kedong, combining the architectural characteristics of Shanghai with the special era vocabulary in the original "Flowers", and on the basis of inheriting the aesthetics of the first season of flowers, strive to break through the stage framework of the first season, pursue the depth, poetry and imagination of the stage language, and pass on the audience to the interpretation space for reverie. The first season of the acclaimed music design B6, lighting design Tan Hua once again joined the main creative team, Shanghai clothing styling designer Hu Xiaohui will also join.
At present, the crew has entered an intense stage of creation and will meet the audience in two months.
