September 29 (Straits Herald reporter) Su Meina's WeChat circle of friends is full of such content every day: "Recruit volunteers for nucleic acid testing tomorrow", "Urgently collect the big tent of community closed-loop management", "Receive a request for help from a blind friend, need to go to the hospital for medical treatment"... It's all about blindness campaigns and volunteer recruitment.
Su Mei Na is a volunteer from Xiamen Chensheng Public Welfare and has been engaged in volunteer service for more than 20 years. Because the name of WeChat is "Yu Yan", many people refer to the characters in "Tianlong Babu" and affectionately call her "Immortal Sister".
Since the outbreak of the new crown epidemic in 2020, Su Mei Na has joined the siming district volunteer service team without hesitation, and is distributed in various communities with her partners. In the eight city areas where she is on duty, whether it is measuring body temperature, epidemic prevention and control or epidemic prevention knowledge publicity, she can see the figure of her service, seriously assist the community to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control, and build a solid "firewall" in the old city with partners. Since September 12 this year, when the epidemic struck again, Su Mei Na and the volunteer team have traveled to various communities in Xiamen - at the railway station to assist in checking putian and people passing through Xiamen; to assist in the temperature measurement of the closed entrance of the property-free community; and to be stationed in the Yuhou Xili community in Siming District for a long time to assist in each round of nucleic acid testing. At the end of the day, she stood for more than ten hours at a time, and often shouted in order to maintain order at the scene. One day, Sister Immortal was on a trip back and forth to get 30 inoculation and input stations for the community to cool dry ice, two air-conditioning fans and ten tents. She herself donated 20 boxes of mineral water to her community epidemic prevention work long before the outbreak. Inspired by Su Meina's actions, many of the friends who once helped the blind with her also rushed to the front line of the fight against the epidemic: "As long as the fairy sister has a call, we little immortals are obliged!" ”
In recent years, Sumina has devoted most of her energy and time to blindness assistance services, not only leading blind people to travel, seek medical treatment, and help them in their daily lives, but also forming a blind band to show the spiritual outlook and ideal pursuit of disabled groups to the society in the form of concerts, so that they can better integrate into society and obtain the right to participate in society on an equal footing.

"Sampling bib" nurse good helper
Because he has served as the support team leader for nucleic acid sampling for many times, Ke Xunyu, deputy chief physician and party member of the Women's Health Department of Xiamen Maternal and Child Health Hospital, designed a simple nucleic acid sampling "slip by the mouth" - "open your mouth, raise your head, and shout 'Ah'!" You are awesome! ”
"The players jokingly called it a 'sampling bib'. In fact, this schematic diagram was originally for children to see. After playing so many times, I wondered what ways I could use to help children calm their emotions and make them more comfortable; later, I found that many adults would also read it carefully and then do it, which was very meaningful. Ke Xunyu introduced.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Ke Xunyu has taken the initiative to ask for help, and she has been present every time she has been on the Xiamen Island nucleic acid sampling support mission. Except for one time because of heat stroke, she insisted on playing as a player, and the rest of the times she served as a captain. "The captain has taken on more responsibilities, not only to complete the team nucleic acid sampling task with the team members, but also to be responsible for coordination with the hospital and the community, arrange for the team members to form a team, rotate, eat, and complete the inventory and verification of the point materials, which can be said to be the earliest to arrive and the latest to go." Ke Xunyu said. "In our support work, we will also pay attention to the status of citizens, and if there is discomfort, we will give them first aid in a timely manner." On September 14, Ke Xunyu led the team to send support for the first time, and encountered a sanitation worker who fainted from heat stroke. She and her team quickly gave first aid while buying functional drinks to recharge his energy. When the patient gradually regained consciousness, they immediately returned to work.

Patient "Little Miss Mei" knocked on the door to sample the close contacts
19 years ago to fight against SARS, now she fights the "new crown", which time she will not be left behind. After 26 years of practicing medicine and still single, it is not an exaggeration to say that she has dedicated her entire youth to the medical cause.
She is Wan Xiaomei, the nurse in charge of the second ward of the Orthopedic Department of the 73rd Army Hospital of the Army. "Nucleic acid sampling must be completed before 12 noon!" At 10:00 p.m. on September 26, the medical group at the isolation point of the Houwu apartment in the hospital released such a sampling task for the second day of the first article. As the captain, Wan Xiaomei quickly gathered the team members to understand the physical condition of the team members and reasonably group them.
Wan Xiaomei is the oldest in the support team, and the team members affectionately call her "Little Sister Mei". She is strong in appearance, but in fact, she also has a weak side. She said that after 11 days of support, she will be nervous and afraid. But even so, Wan Xiaomei still charged forward. On the morning of the 27th, Wan Xiaomei and the team members began to wear protective equipment after a simple breakfast. In groups of two, they pushed a small cart carrying sampling tools such as sampling test tubes and nasopharyngeal swabs, knocking on doors from house to door to sample for close and sub-close contacts.
Before sampling, she needs to arrange the sample tubes in order and check the name and room number on the test tube label. Wearing a tight protective suit with fog all over the blindfold and goggles, she took the sample tube to the side and identified it one by one through a thin slit in the goggles. "How long you close, how long we will accompany you, you nasopharyngeal swabs to pick, we also want to collect ..." Wan Xiaomei said, knocking on the door is more difficult, some knock for several minutes before opening the door. Before each sampling, the isolation point is also informed by radio shouting, but it is almost impossible to hear through the doors and windows. In order to achieve "no leakage of one person" sampling, Wan Xiaomei always patiently knocked over and over again until people heard it.

The whole family of Taiwan compatriots was mobilized to participate in volunteer service for epidemic prevention

The couple also brought their daughter to the scene, so that the children could feel the atmosphere of volunteer service, and the family joined forces to participate in the anti-epidemic service. Fang Yuanyuan said that the family hopes to do their best to give back to the society and contribute to the fight against the epidemic.

Take off your doctor's suit and put on your protective suit
Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Xiamen, the Municipal Construction Bureau has acted on orders and has sent 30 party members and cadres in batches to the frontline of epidemic prevention and control, showing the responsibility of the builders.

Before she had time to fully adapt to the transformation from campus people to workplace people, when the epidemic struck in Tong'an Xinmin Town, she took off her doctoral uniform, put on a protective suit, and since September 12, she has been sticking to the front line of the "epidemic" in Yangcuopu Village, Xinmin Town.
Starting from the first round of nucleic acid testing, Xu Haonan undertook the work of both the entry officer and the inspector, responsible for the information entry, registration, maintenance order, sample transportation and other work of nucleic acid testing. For each round of nucleic acid testing, she wore protective clothing for nearly ten hours, sweat soaked through her clothes, fog blindfolded goggles, and protective masks strangled marks on her face.
Thin shoulders, because the support of faith can also carry a thousand pounds of weight. In addition to participating in each round of nucleic acid testing for all employees, Xu Haonan also has to dock the isolation situation in the sealing and control area every day, implement the duty arrangement of the closed village bayonet, answer the epidemic prevention consultation call, explore the drug needs of the villagers, and be responsible for the information management of the 2 grid areas.
