At the 2021 Qingdao Land-Sea Linkage Summit Forum, Huo Gaoyuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Port, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with 7 enterprise partners such as State Power Investment Group Corporation and Xiamen Xiangyu Group Co., Ltd. on behalf of Shandong Port, and Li Fengli, Deputy Secretary, Director and General Manager of Shandong Port, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the layout of commodity trading with 7 shandong municipal governments such as Jinan City and Qingdao City on behalf of Shandong Port; Shandong Port Logistics Group, Overseas Development Group, Beijing Lugang Holdings, Rizhao Port and other companies signed five agreements with their partners.
The 19 signed contracts are rich in connotation, including Shandong Port focusing on the main business, working with ports, railways, heavy customers, etc. to promote the upgrading and cooperation of the logistics industry and ensure the stability of the international industrial chain supply chain, as well as new efforts and new explorations to jointly carry out clean energy cooperation with leading enterprises in the industry and promote the transformation of smart ports. Shandong Port has also carried out strategic cooperation with 7 municipal governments in the province to jointly build a commodity trading platform, which will give full play to the resource allocation function of the Shandong Dashang Center trading platform, gather the resources of the province to build a "1 + N" development layout for bulk commodity trading, and create a commodity trading pricing center and resource allocation center with national influence to serve the transformation of new and old kinetic energy and high-quality economic development in the province. On June 7 this year, the first important project of the layout, the China North International Oil and Gas Center, has been successfully landed in Qingdao City, and has been selected into the "14th Five-Year Plan" of Shandong Province, which is a major supporting project for the conversion of new and old kinetic energy in the province.
The series of signings is a "big move" for Shandong Port to build an international leading smart green port, a logistics hub port, an industry-city integration port, a financial trade port, and a cruise cultural tourism port, which vividly demonstrates the firm will and determination of Shandong Port to build a world-class marine port and serve the new development pattern.
