There is no neutrality in this world, and Swiss banks have long been out of credit.
Recently, Swiss Federal Market Regulator FINMA has been investigating 12 Swiss banks for "several months".
Riad Salameh, governor of the Lebanese Central Bank, is accused of embezzlement, most of which went into 12 Swiss banks, which received most of the money he allegedly misappropriated, estimated at up to $500 million, SonntagsZeitung reported on Sunday.
Swiss weekly said Raja Salameh had $250 million left in his personal account at a subsidiary of HSBC in Geneva.
Other amounts were ultimately paid by UBS, Credit Suisse, Julius Baer, EFG and Pictet, with transactions conducted using offshore companies registered in the BVI, the report added.
