Grass and sea tung family, Bulbophyllum flowers are shrubs or subshrub plants. It is endemic to southwestern Western Australia, native to the wilderness and sand.
The plant is usually 70 cm tall and 60 cm wide. The leaves are dense, narrow, and stiff, with leaves 7.5–11.5 mm long. Sepals are 4.0–5.5 mm long. The flowers range in color from red to yellowish and milky white. The flowers are mostly straight and look like they are not blooming after flowering. The corolla tube is fluffy inside. The flowering period is mainly from August to December. The addition word tubiflora means "tube flower" and "tube flower".
