Although the flowers of the opium poppy are beautiful, it is the main drug plant for the production of opium. Article 351 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates: Anyone who illegally cultivates opium poppy, marijuana, or other narcotic plants shall be forcibly eradicated; anyone who cultivates more than 500 opium poppies but less than 3,000 or other narcotic plants in large quantities, and who is replanted after being dealt with by the public security organs, or who resists eradication, shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than five years, short-term detention or controlled release, and shall also be fined; If you encounter illegal acts of planting and selling opium poppy and other narcotic plants, please report it in time, so that the "flower of sin" has nowhere to bloom.
