When the two met, Koda said to Miki:
He didn't care whether he was a "human" or a "demon", whichever side was strong, he would go to which side.
And when he saw the powerful ability of the "Demon" Legion, he did turn against the "Demon" side.
The "devil" worships power, indulges desires, and pursues survival without hypocrisy.
The same is true of Koda.
Although Koda is always referred to as a "demon man" by the characters in the play, in his heart, he is no different from all the "demons" lurking in human society.
From the moment he officially joined the "demon" camp, Koda was already thinking and acting in a "demon" way.

Asuka said:

But in the eyes of "human beings", "demon people" are just "demons".
When you think about it, it's very interesting.
In the final war, it was not actually the two forces of "human" and "demon", but the three forces of "demon people".
Although the Demon Man tried to fight alongside the "Human", this was not the case.
If we jump out and analyze the essential motives of these three camps, we will find some interesting phenomena:
The "demons" fight, no doubt to seek their own survival;
The "human" fights, but also to seek their own survival;
The battle of the "demon people" is to protect the continuation of "humanity" and "humanity" as much as possible.

What Kuroda has not understood is the "humanity" in his heart.

She thought that she no longer had "humanity" when she was united with the "devil", so she chose to give up on herself.
But "human nature" has nothing to do with all this.
"Human nature" is only about our true hearts.

There is actually no difference between "humans" and "demons."
Even most "humans" actually live like "demons."
It's just that most people never understand this.
There are always things that people don't understand, which is normal and there is no need to blame.
It is in order for us to understand this that we need "art" and we need to listen to the voices of others.
That's why we need to maintain "humanity" and goodwill in our hearts.
