On the evening of March 20 and 21, the classic dance drama "Orchid Flower" produced by China Oriental Performing Arts Group was staged at Poly Theater. The main creative team that planned a number of programs in the 2021 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and dancers Zeng Ming and Meng Qingyang jointly performed this dance drama with the flavor of northern Shaanxi.
The dance drama "Orchid Flower" is a rolling art work supported by the National Arts Fund, and it is also the first national dance drama in the art history of China Oriental Performing Arts Group. It is adapted from the traditional folk tales of northern Shaanxi, orchids and Yang Wuwa have a deep affection, but the landlord Zhou Laocai wants orchids to marry his son, thus interpreting a human tragedy.

"Orchid Flower" has been born for 12 years, several times rehearsed and polished, by the general director He Lishan, Tang Wenjuan and choreographers Zhou Liya, Li Mingjia as the main creator, the third generation of "Orchid Flower" Meng Qingyang and "Yang Wuwa" Zeng Ming co-starred. The two leading actors, one performed a beautiful and elegant jasmine and a flexible peacock in the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and the other offered a jubilant red silk dance.
This drama is full of regional characteristics of northern Shaanxi, such as the Ansai waist drum, the northern Shaanxi Xintian tour, the loess plateau prints, and the ethnic costumes with northern Shaanxi characteristics.
