Synopsis:
As the New Year approaches, on Wednesdays, when Zoroastrian traditions are celebrated with fireworks, the girl who is about to get married comes to a middle-class family to earn money as an hourly maid, and her mistress suffers from depression and insists that her husband is having an affair with a divorced single hairdresser neighbor. Girls are dragged into this complex storm of human struggles for no reason and cannot get out, not only to see the unknown bitterness of marriage life in advance, but also to recognize the extreme inequality of Iranian society for women.
Askha Fahati's third feature film shifts from the previous male narrative point of view to women, through the process of dealing with three female characters at different stages of marriage who are full of expectations for married life, deep in the mire of marriage, and independent life after divorce, the subtle unpredictability of human nature and the ambiguous ambiguity of moral positions are dialectically flawed.
