Adding another layer above the corridor, this is a more bold installation, at first I felt unreliable, but after the real completion, the 10m long corridor was not wasted, and there was an extra layer of use space, which was earned in vain.
When designing, it is considered that the space in the corridor is not large, so if you do the mezzanine design, it is recommended that the lower floor height is 1.9m and the upper floor is 1.6m high, so that the lower corridor space, when we walk back and forth, will not feel depressed, and tall family members will not have pressure.
In addition, in the corridor above the mezzanine design, not the mezzanine on the 10m long, but the production of the part, may be 2 ㎡ size, so that it is also for the sake of lighting and ventilation in the corridor, because although the corridor is 10m long, but the area is not large, there is no outer window, if you do a full mezzanine, it will inevitably make the original corridor more dim, crowded, and you have to turn on the lights during the day, which is completely unreasonable.
But isn't it very chicken to just make a 2㎡ large sandwich? Then you are wrong, you can use the narrow platform of the side wall to make a full wall of storage bookshelves, so that this 2㎡ mezzanine space can become a unique reading area or learning area in the home, undisturbed. Around the mezzanine layer, a steel structure protective fence of about 1m height must be installed, and the safety is guaranteed.
Among them, there are many ways to do the sandwich, because the corridor is narrow and long, so the way of the cement cast-in-place two layer is passed, and the choice of steel structure support to do the second layer is more appropriate, the load-bearing is guaranteed, and the sandwich is not thick, it will not feel more crowded, so that it will produce a sense of resignation.
Finally, if you think it is difficult to do mezzanine, you can actually learn to use non-load-bearing walls, thin walls, do embedded storage, open up long corridor space, and more storage space.
