Remember the Polar Fox Alpha S? It is the one that was used by a platform to collide with BYD Han EV in July 2021 and won the collision.
Although there was a lot of controversy online about that experiment, one thing is certain: the popularity of the Alpha S was hyped overnight. The most annoying thing for a new brand is that no one knows that the collision of the extreme fox is equivalent to opening a super invincible tailwind.
So today, a year and a half later, how are the two protagonists in that collision experiment selling? Hanyue's sales are stable at about 30,000 units, while the Alpha S is only a few hundred units, which is not as good as a fraction of the former. The world says "the winner is king", but this phrase does not seem to work in Alpha S.
